The Cybervelo EK2 is a straightforward commuter: a 750 W motor, 26-inch wheels with puncture-resistant 1.95-inch tires, a 7-speed drivetrain, a suspension fork and a sprung saddle. Fenders and a headlight come standard, and the color LCD shows speed, battery, assist level and distance, with a one-button cruise control.
It stops with front and rear mechanical disc brakes plus EABS, a system that cuts motor power when you brake. Top speed is 20 mph, the Class 2 limit, which makes it legal on most bike paths.
Its weak point is the spec sheet. Cybervelo lists the battery as 10.4 Ah without the voltage, so we can't confirm its capacity, and the 75–80 mile range claim looks optimistic for a battery that size. Weight and maximum load aren't listed either.
